About the Role

The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care during hospital stays, assessing, managing, and coordinating patient activities with a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Performs thorough assessments and reassessments, documenting findings accurately.
• Develops, evaluates, and updates individualized care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, and protocols.
• Delivers and documents nursing interventions, collaborates with the healthcare team, administers medications, and educates patients and families.
• Recognizes changes in patient condition, takes appropriate actions, and reports significant events.
• Provides specialized care such as restraint and pain management, and assesses for abuse.
• Ensures adherence to safety, infection control, and quality standards, maintaining a safe and organized environment.
• Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and effective communication, fostering a respectful team atmosphere.
• Participates in performance improvement, evidence-based practice, and research activities, contributing to quality enhancement.
• Delivers age-appropriate care, respects patient dignity, and communicates compassionately to meet patient needs.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid RN license in the applicable state.
• BLS certification.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing demands and maintain high standards of care.
• Commitment to professional growth, respectful conduct, and delivering excellent patient service in a fast-paced hospital setting.
