About the Role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all life stages, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within organizational policies. They are responsible for maintaining practice standards, coordinating patient care activities, and ensuring quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver patient-centered nursing care.
• Coordinate care activities among assigned staff to ensure quality and safety.
• Adhere to institutional policies and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
• Manage patient ratios based on volume and acuity, adjusting as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current Georgia RN licensure or multistate license; BCLS certification.
• Certifications relevant to specialty areas (e.g., ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP) as required.
• New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge, adaptability, and commitment to professional development.
