Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical, Orthopedics

Staff nurse providing comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program (Bachelor's preferred)
• No experience required; new graduates eligible
• Hospital experience preferred; 1 year in hospital required for PRN roles
• Current Georgia RN licensure or multistate licensure
• BCLS certification required
• Additional certifications may be required based on specialty area, such as ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, or specialized pediatric and surgical certifications

Skills

• Ability to coordinate care, adhere to standards, and obtain specialty certifications within specified timeframes
• Knowledge of high-risk situations, emergency protocols, and patient safety measures is essential
