Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical, Orthopedic/Spine, Night Shift

About the role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. He/she operates within organizational policies, ensuring professional growth and accountability. The role involves maintaining practice standards and coordinating patient care activities among assigned staff to deliver quality nursing services.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care based on nursing assessments
• Implementing and evaluating care plans
• Ensuring adherence to standards of practice
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to coordinate care
• OBTAINING NECESSARY SPECIALTY CERTIFICATIONS WITHIN SPECIFIED TIMEFRAMES

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred
• No experience required; new graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred
• Current Georgia RN license or multistate license; BCLS certification
• Additional certifications may be required based on specialty area (e.g., ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP)
