Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical - Full Time

About the Role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates patient care across departments, upholds patient rights and confidentiality, and performs duties aligned with organizational mission, values, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Maintain patient confidentiality and rights
• Ensure adherence to safety and care standards
• Evaluate and improve care quality based on patient outcomes
• Apply nursing knowledge and skills to patient care
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and coordinate with healthcare team
• Uphold safety, confidentiality, and patient rights
• Maintain necessary certifications and physical readiness for the role

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN)
• Valid RN license in the state or compact license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
• Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, ENPC) may be needed based on unit
