Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical/Emergency Department

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for coordinating nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and care transitions. The RN supports professional nursing practices across various settings, ensuring comprehensive, patient-centered care aligned with the Mayo Clinic Nursing Practice Model and ANA standards. The role demonstrates leadership through mentorship, committee participation, and quality improvement initiatives, delegating tasks based on skill level and resource availability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care and patient/family education
• Support professional nursing practices across various settings
• Ensure patient-centered care aligned with the Mayo Clinic Nursing Practice Model and ANA standards
• Demonstrate leadership through mentorship, committee participation, and quality improvement initiatives
• Delegate tasks based on skill level and resource availability

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Valid state RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Qualifications (Preferred)

• One year of RN or LPN experience

Pay

$43.84 - $66.84 per hour

Schedule

• Full-time hours (60 per pay period)
• Flexible shifts, including day/night rotations, weekends, and holidays
