About the Role
Provides direct nursing care in accordance with organizational policies, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and communicating patient conditions. Acts as the primary coordinator among healthcare disciplines to ensure well-coordinated care. Carries out physician and nursing orders and assesses discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care
- Document patient conditions and communicate effectively
- Assist with discharge planning and patient assessments
Requirements
- Current RN license or eligibility from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of one year RN experience
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire, from AHA or Red Cross
