Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive direct patient care, including the safe administration of chemotherapy/immunotherapy
• Closely monitor side effects and allergic reactions
• Oversee various vascular access devices (e.g., PICC lines, PortaCaths)
• Perform blood draws and manage infusion technology
• Adhere strictly to protocols for safe handling of cytotoxic agents

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
• Certification specializing in Chemotherapy credentialed from the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification specializing in Chemotherapy credentialed from the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)
