Registered Nurse - Medical Intensive Care Unit

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care according to standards
• Educating patients and families on illness management and post-discharge needs
• Promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and communicate individualized care plans
• Evaluating physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient preferences

Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Associate's degree in nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
• Prior ICU experience
• BSN and CCRN preferred
