About the role
Full-time, 36 hours/week. Night shifts (7:00pm-7:30am) with rotating weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care following state laws and hospital policies.
- Utilize critical thinking to assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations.
- Delegate appropriate tasks and collaborate with team members to meet unit goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of RN critical care experience
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred (must obtain within five years if applicable)
- Current Illinois RN licensure
- CPR certification (American Heart Association BLS)
- ACLS certification within six months of hire
