Registered Nurse - Medical ICU - Days

About the Role

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Medical ICU, providing professional nursing care to critically ill patients. You will assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, and delegate tasks to team members in accordance with state laws and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in the Medical ICU setting.
• Monitor patient progress and document observations.
• Assess patient conditions and recognize changes in status.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegate tasks to team members as appropriate.

Requirements

• Current Illinois RN licensure.
• Minimum of 3 years of critical care experience.
• Certification in CPR (required).
• Certification in ACLS (must obtain within six months of hire).

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (minimum); Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• If hired with an Associate Degree, must pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

Schedule
