Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Unit - Part-Time Days

Provides safe, competent nursing care aligned with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Offers professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, emphasizing Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assess psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs of patients and families.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans using nursing expertise.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care, including goals, treatment, and discharge planning.
• Perform hourly rounds to enhance communication, safety, and anticipate patient needs.
• Deliver personalized, high-quality clinical care while demonstrating compassion, empathy, teamwork, and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Preferred: minimum one year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care.
• Ability to pass pre-employment assessments.
