Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele

About the Role

Provides comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced environment, supporting patients of all age groups in both office and clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Performing patient assessments and delivering direct care according to established protocols.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Adhering to infection control policies and utilizing PPE as required.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current NYS RN license required.
• Preferred certifications include specialty-specific credentials and skills certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or TNCC.
• Previous clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care settings is advantageous.

Work Environment

Includes patient care areas and office spaces, involving frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting, and exposure to cleaning solutions. The environment is air-conditioned and heated with potential interruptions, requiring adaptability and professionalism.
