Registered Nurse - Med Surg Stepdown

Position Overview: Provides direct nursing care in a supportive, teaching-focused unit, caring for a diverse patient population in a 30-bed medical and surgical stepdown setting. Responsibilities include: Implementing and monitoring patient care plans, communicating patient conditions, coordinating multidisciplinary care, carrying out physician and nursing orders, and assisting with discharge planning.Qualifications: Valid RN license from the Alabama Board of Nursing, BLS certification within 30 days, and ACLS certification within 180 days.
