About the Role
Provides direct nursing care in a supportive, teaching-focused unit, caring for a diverse patient population in a 30-bed medical and surgical stepdown setting.
Responsibilities
- Implementing and monitoring patient care plans
- Communicating patient conditions
- Coordinating multidisciplinary care
- Carrying out physician and nursing orders
- Assisting with discharge planning
Requirements
- Valid RN license from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- ACLS certification within 180 days of hire
- Education from an accredited nursing program
Skills
- Strong patient assessment and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
