Registered Nurse - Med Surg - Days - 36hr/week

About the Role

Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care, evaluate care effectiveness, coordinate with other departments, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and ensure adherence to mission, values, and standards in a Med Surg setting caring for adults with diverse medical conditions such as infections, obstructions, and respiratory issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assess patient needs.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate care.
• Uphold professional accountability and standards.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Active RN license in Missouri or compact licensure.
• BLS certification.
• Prior hospital experience preferred but not required.
• Additional certifications are a plus.

Skills & Physical Requirements

• Strong assessment and coordination skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand and walk for long periods.
• Perform physical tasks such as reaching and bending.
