Registered Nurse - Med-Surg/Behavioral Health - Night Shift

About the Role

This position is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care in a hospital setting, specifically within medical-surgical and behavioral health units.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Maintain current competency and contribute to peer development.
• Integrate ethical principles and evidence-based practices into nursing activities.
• Promote safety for patients and staff, and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Supervise and guide nursing staff, ensuring thorough documentation.
• Perform related duties as needed to support patient care and team functions.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois Nursing license and CPR certification.
• Mastery of nursing skills and effective communication.
• Preferably one year of nursing experience.
• Additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required.
