Registered Nurse - Med-Surg/Behavioral Health - Days

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Medical-Surgical/Behavioral Health, Days shift, providing comprehensive patient care in a full-time capacity. Key Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care utilizing the nursing process.Maintain current competency and promote professional development among peers.Integrate ethical standards and evidence-based practices into patient care.Ensure safety protocols to prevent injuries and provide a safe working environment.Supervise and guide nursing staff, document thoroughly and timely, and perform related duties.Adapt to varying situations and respond appropriately in emergencies. Qualifications & Skills Minimum one year of nursing experience preferred.Graduate of an accredited nursing program.Current Illinois Nursing license and CPR certification.Effective communication and leadership skills.ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required depending on unit needs.
