A registered nurse (RN) position in Medical-Surgical and Behavioral Health departments, offering full-time day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process.
• Maintain current competency and promote professional development among peers.
• Integrate ethical standards and evidence-based practices into patient care.
• Ensure safety protocols to prevent injuries and provide a safe working environment.
• Supervise and guide nursing staff, document thoroughly and timely, and perform related duties.
• Adapt to varying situations and respond appropriately in emergencies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum one year of nursing experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois Nursing license and CPR certification.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• May require ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications based on unit needs.
