About the role
Responsible for providing high-quality, technical nursing care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient needs while supervising team members and maintaining effective communication. They support organizational standards, promote a safe and therapeutic environment, and facilitate patient education.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred
- Valid Texas nursing license
- Basic Life Support certification
- Minimum 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency
- Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and care standards
- Ability to handle confidential information and work in physically demanding conditions
- Strong communication, collaboration, and professional growth orientation
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, accurate medication and IV administration
- Maintain thorough patient documentation
- Build relationships with patients, families, and team members
- Take accountability for performance and growth
- Adhere to hospital standards and promote teamwork
- Perform other assigned duties to support patient care and safety
