Registered Nurse - Med/Surg - Days

About the role

Responsible for providing high-quality, technical nursing care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient needs while supervising team members and maintaining effective communication. They support organizational standards, promote a safe and therapeutic environment, and facilitate patient education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred
• Valid Texas nursing license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Minimum 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency
• Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and care standards
• Ability to handle confidential information and work in physically demanding conditions
• Strong communication, collaboration, and professional growth orientation

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, accurate medication and IV administration
• Maintain thorough patient documentation
• Build relationships with patients, families, and team members
