Registered Nurse - Med Surg

About the role

A Registered Nurse - Med Surg delivers comprehensive patient care in a hospital setting, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and executing treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare teams. The nurse educates patients and families on disease management and post-discharge care while accurately documenting all patient interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to diverse patient populations with acute or chronic conditions
• Administer treatments, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge procedures
• Ensure accurate documentation of care activities in compliance with policies

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or higher in nursing
• Active, unencumbered RN license
• At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in medical-surgical units
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong assessment, planning, and intervention skills
• Proficiency with electronic medical records

Pay

The salary ranges from $62,030 to $101,547 annually.
