About the Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using evidence-based practices and collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
- Develop individualized care plans with patient and family input
- Delegate and coordinate interdisciplinary care
- Evaluate patient responses to interventions
- Promote professionalism by adhering to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards
- Ensure accurate documentation
- Foster ongoing professional development
Requirements
- Current RN license in the practice state
- BLS certification
- Less than 12 months of experience requires obtaining a BSN within four years
- Proficiency in patient care delivery, documentation, communication, critical thinking, and team collaboration
Physical & Other Requirements
- Ability to see, hear, read, manipulate equipment, and lift/move patients and supplies
- Frequent standing, walking, and manual dexterity needed for patient assistance and equipment operation
