Role: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Responsibilities: Coordinates patient care with other departments, evaluates care effectiveness, and performs duties aligned with organizational standards, mission, and values. Assesses and monitors patients, especially those in step-down units, with conditions such as CHF, COPD, CKD.Manages patient treatments including cardiac drips, post-procedural care, chest tubes, pacemakers, and respiratory support.Collaborates with healthcare team to ensure quality care and patient safety. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s, Diploma, or BSN).Current RN license in the state or compact license, maintained throughout employment.American Heart Association Healthcare Provider certification; ACLS and BLS required within 90 days of hire.
