Registered Nurse - Maternal Child Float

Full-time 12-hour night shift position.

About the role

As a Registered Nurse at Saint Joseph Health System, you are responsible for implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process in accordance with current established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act. Our RNs are patient advocates who provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues. You will float between Pediatrics, Mother Baby, and NICU.

Responsibilities

• Implement, direct, communicate, and document the nursing process.
• Adhere to established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
• Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.
• Float between Pediatrics, Mother Baby, and NICU as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• RN Indiana License.
• CPR certification on hire or able to attain within 60 days.
• Preferred 1+ years of experience in Peds, Mother Baby, or NICU (new grad RNs will be considered).

Assigned hours within your shift, starting time, or days of work are subject to change based on departmental and/or organizational needs.
