Registered Nurse Manager (RN) - Outpatient Oncology

Role Overview The Nurse Manager provides leadership and management for a specific clinical unit or service, ensuring quality patient care, safety, and operational efficiency. They serve as a chief retention and safety officer, utilizing data and technology to uphold standards, mitigate risks, and create a safe, collaborative work environment. Responsibilities Include Engaging staff through shared governance and promoting patient-centered care.Managing human, material, and financial resources efficiently.Fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and effective communication among staff, physicians, and departments.Supporting staff development, competency, and professional growth.Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, promoting evidence-based practice, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.Applying change management strategies and demonstrating transformational leadership.Utilizing data to measure outcomes, manage budgets, and drive performance. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's preferred.Valid RN license in Georgia or multi-state compact, with BLS certification.Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing management experience.Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.Knowledge of healthcare environment, safety standards, and evidence-based practices.
