Registered Nurse Manager (RN) - Outpatient Oncology

Role Overview The Nurse Manager is a registered nurse responsible for leading a specific clinical unit or service, ensuring excellent patient care, safety, and staff engagement. They effectively manage clinical, financial, human, and material resources to meet organizational goals. Key Responsibilities Foster a collaborative, patient-centered care environment through shared governance and relationship-based systems.Serve as chief retention and safety officer, utilizing data and technology for decision-making and risk mitigation.Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, promoting a safe work environment that supports organizational mission.Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, establish healthy team dynamics, and build strong partnerships across departments.Support staff competency, uphold professional standards and ethics, and promote professional development.Manage resources efficiently, develop and monitor budgets, and implement quality improvement initiatives.Advance evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement efforts.Ensure regulatory compliance, safety standards, and confidentiality of patient and staff data. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Master’s preferred.Current RN licensure (single or multi-state license) and BLS certification.Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing management experience.Excellent communication, relationship-building, leadership, and knowledge of healthcare environment.
