What You'll Make an Impact In

Lead daily operations and workflow for the nursing unit, ensuring safe staffing, efficient care coordination, and high-quality patient care delivery across the interdisciplinary team.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and clinical policies while maintaining accurate clinical documentation within Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR).

Hire, train, coach, and evaluate nursing staff, supporting professional development and strengthening collaboration to deliver safe, effective direct patient care.

Identify and resolve barriers affecting patient care services while managing departmental resources and budgets to maintain operational efficiency and quality outcomes.

Monitor departmental budgets and approve expenditures to ensure responsible resource management while maintaining operational efficiency and high standards of patient care.

Minimum Requirements

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Education Required: professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.

Additional Preferences

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

3+ years OR RN experience with 1+ years of leadership experience preferred.
