Registered Nurse Manager Cath Lab

About the role

Manage catheterization lab services activities, workflow and nursing resources. Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services in a unit. Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit. Ensures departmental compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Monitor and adhere to budgets. Approves or monitors expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines. Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage catheterization lab services activities, workflow and nursing resources.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services in a unit.

• Ensures departmental compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Maintain and monitor budgets.
• Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
• Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Education Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience AND 1 year of cumulative Leadership Experience Required.

Qualifications

• Professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience AND 1 year of cumulative Leadership Experience Required.
