Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse

Role Overview: This position involves providing healthcare services at a plasma donation center, focusing on donor evaluation, education, and safety. The role includes performing physical examinations, building rapport with donors, ensuring confidentiality, and managing donor health and adverse events. It also involves training staff, administering vaccines, and maintaining compliance with safety protocols. Responsibilities Assess donor suitability through examinations and medical history review.Educate donors on health and test results, counseling when necessary.Manage donor injuries and adverse events efficiently.Assist in staff training and support employee health programs.Ensure confidentiality and compliance with safety standards in a biological and laboratory environment. Qualifications & Skills: Educated and licensed as a Registered Nurse in the respective state, with current CPR certification. Bilingual in Spanish required. Must possess physical stamina for standing, sitting, bending, lifting, and fine motor skills. Ability to communicate effectively, work independently, and adapt to changing demands. Capable of handling biological fluids and working with protective equipment in cold environments.
