Role Overview
The Clinical Liaison acts as the primary communication link between healthcare facilities, providing on-site patient evaluations and supporting marketing efforts through professional education and community outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams, patients, families, and referral sources, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Conduct interdisciplinary admission assessments, coordinate pre-admission paperwork, insurance verification, and evaluate patient suitability for hospitalization.
- Engage in marketing activities by participating in conferences, community events, and making targeted contacts to promote the hospital's services.
- Perform market research and analysis to inform strategic planning, track demographic trends, and assess market share.
- Provide detailed reports on patient demographics, trends, and competitive positioning.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current Texas RN license.
- Three to five years of experience in insurance, utilization review, or case management preferred.
- Strong communication, assertiveness, and ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Effective verbal and written skills; experience with adult and geriatric populations is required.
- Certifications such as CPR, CCRN, or rehabilitation certification are advantageous.
