Registered Nurse - Acute Physical Rehab

About the Role

A skilled Nurse independently provides both routine and complex patient care in a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of each situation. The nurse manages long-term goals, develops contingency plans, and delegates tasks to care providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care following ANA standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families according to their level of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments using established protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Accurately document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and available resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• Current BLS certification.
