Job Responsibilities and Requirements
- Maintains daily work flow/volumes and identifies opportunities.
- Collaborates with department leader for oversight of operations.
- Addresses performance and quality concerns.
- Solicits peer feedback and provides input during performance reviews.
- Assists with staff supervision and training.
- Manages staff planning, attendance, and time off.
- Participates in training and procedure manual development.
- Facilitates regular staff and department meetings.
Education and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent for licensing.
- Two years’ registered nurse experience required.
Physical Requirements
- Constant use of speech.
- Constant standing and walking.
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, reaching, and keyboard use/data entry.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception.
- Frequent use of smell to detect/recognize odors.
- Frequent use of hearing to receive oral communication, distinguish body sounds, and hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, gripping, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Occasional driving.
- Rare crawling and running.
Professional License and Certification
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
