Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery - Nights

Position: Provides professional nursing care within hospital policies, employing critical thinking to assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations. Delegates tasks appropriately and collaborates as part of a team to achieve unit goals. Qualifications: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; current Illinois RN licensure; BLS certification; ACLS within six months; C-EFM within one year; NRP certification within six months; neonatal resuscitation and labor experience preferred. If holding an Associate Degree, must pursue a Bachelor's within five years. Key Skills: Critical thinking, assessment, delegation, teamwork, adherence to policies, and certifications in emergency and fetal monitoring techniques.
