Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery - Nights

About the Role

Provides professional nursing care in labor and delivery, adhering to state regulations and hospital policies. Utilizes critical thinking to assess patient conditions, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations. Delegates tasks appropriately and collaborates with team members to achieve unit goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care, monitor patient progress, and recognize changes in condition
• Delegate tasks to team members and contribute to unit goals
• Employ critical thinking and record observations accurately

Requirements

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Baccalaureate required within five years if only Associate Degree held
• Current Illinois RN licensure
• Current BLS certification; ACLS, C-EFM, and NRP certifications within specified timeframes
