Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery, Night Shift

Overview

Join a dedicated Labor & Delivery team providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a 7-bed unit with an integrated OR and PACU. The role involves caring for patients through all obstetric phases—from triage and labor to surgical delivery, recovery, postpartum, and neonatal care. The nurse will prioritize safety and professionalism, coordinating care with staffing ratios based on patient acuity, including 1:1 in active labor and OR, 2:1 for magnesium therapy, and 3:1 for couplet care. The position emphasizes teamwork and quality care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for patients from birth onward, adhering to organizational policies.
• Maintains practice standards, coordinates patient care activities, and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program; new graduates eligible
• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license
• BLS certification required
• PREFERRED: 1+ year hospital experience, Bachelor's degree, advanced specialty certification
