Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery - Night - Per Diem

Position Overview: Provides professional nursing care in accordance with state laws and hospital policies, utilizing critical thinking to assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations. Collaborates with team members and delegates appropriate tasks to ensure quality patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree required within five years if holding an Associate Degree.Current Illinois RN licensure.Certifications: CPR (American Heart Association), ACLS (within six months), C-EFM (within one year), NRP (within six months).Preferred: Labor & Delivery RN experience. Key Duties: Provide nursing care during night shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays.Travel as needed to different units, such as mother-baby.Employ critical thinking to assess and monitor patients, document observations, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
