Job Description
Aid in newborn care during and after deliveries, offering immediate support.
Respond effectively to emergencies through neonatal resuscitation.
Identify and address potential risks and health issues in both high and low-risk obstetrical patients.
Promptly report any maternal or newborn problems to the physician.
Assist with transferring newborns to other facilities when necessary, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Accurately identify and band newborns, mothers, and significant others to avoid mix-ups.
Education
Associate's degree in Nursing [Required]
Bachelor's degree in Nursing [Preferred]
Work Experience
One year of acute nursing experience [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications
Basic Life Support - CPR Certification (BLS) [Required]
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) [Required]
Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
Pay Range
$31.53 - $52.24 per hour
Background Screening Requirement
Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
