Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery - Nights

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides safe, compassionate care across diverse patient populations by developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans. They collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes, communicate effectively with patients and families, and document all care activities. Key Responsibilities Assess patient health data, create and revise care plans, and evaluate progress toward outcomes.Educate patients and families, considering cultural background and learning needs, on disease management and emergency procedures.Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, communicate patient information, and delegate tasks as appropriate.Support professional development of peers and contribute to a positive, learning-focused environment.Assist with technical procedures such as injections, IV management, and oxygen therapy.Participate in quality improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives, including wound and skin care management.Ensure compliance with HIPAA and assist with patient transport when necessary. Qualifications & Skills Current nursing license in the state of IL.Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.At least 2 years of labor and delivery or acute care nursing experience preferred.Labor and Delivery experience is highly desirable.
