Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery

About the Role

Provide compassionate, evidence-based patient care in a high-risk obstetric unit. Ensure safe, coordinated care by communicating effectively with interdisciplinary teams and supporting a culture of safety and quality improvement. Mentor colleagues and foster a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and administer medications.
• Facilitate admissions, discharges, and educate patients and families.
• Implement nursing interventions, monitor patient responses, and revise care plans accordingly.
• Prioritize patient-centered, respectful care and support safety initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Kentucky.
• Associate degree with 10+ years of experience or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, and dysrhythmia training as per department needs.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.

Schedule

Full-time, primarily day shifts with 12-hour night shifts as needed.
