Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery - 12-hour Shift

About the Role

Provide comprehensive care for mothers and newborns throughout antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum stages in a multidisciplinary, culturally sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and care for mothers and infants following established clinical guidelines.
• Educate patients from prenatal to postpartum periods.
• Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care.
• Support early family bonding.
• Participate in competency programs and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain clinical practice in accordance with professional standards such as AWHONN, ACOG, NRP, and AAP.

Requirements

• Current MA RN licensure.
• Experience in labor and delivery required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP; AWHONN Fetal Monitoring preferred.
• BSN preferred.
