Registered Nurse - 12-Hour Shifts

About the role

PCU Registered Nurse (RN) providing high-quality patient care in hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and patient status changes
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments
• Collaborating with physicians and care teams
• Maintaining accurate electronic medical records
• Adhering to infection-control and safety standards
• Educating patients and families about care plans
• Adapting to different hospital units and environments

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN License
• At least 2 years of recent PCU experience within the past 4 years
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
• Additional credentials may be required per facility

Schedule

• Flexible scheduling with shifts from 7a-7p or 7p-7a
• Work as little as one shift per month or build a fuller schedule
• No minimum weekly commitment or rigid schedule
