Registered Nurse RN - 12 hour shifts

About the role

As a Registered Nurse, you will be part of our skilled nursing team, providing specialized care to patients in areas such as orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology, and dermatology. You will assess patient needs, implement care plans, and utilize the latest technology as part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of treatments, including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and advise patients and families on medication changes, treatment plans, and patient condition.
• Provide preventative and supportive care to enhance the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• Oversee the CNA team, including direction, assignments, training, and contributions to recognition and evaluations.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with patients, families, and visitors to create a positive healing environment.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as an RN in the state of Michigan.
• Current CPR certification.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, or higher.
• High level of analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans and implement effective nursing care.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, and innovative care.
• Team-oriented mindset, dedicated to supporting team members and achieving goals.

Pay

• Starting wages: $35.15 - $39.00 per hour based on years of certification.
• Additional $3.40 per hour hero/hazard pay.
• $5.00 shift premium for 7p-7a shifts.
• Earn up to $47.40 per hour.
• Yearly wage increases.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and some holidays.
