About the Role
Provide safe, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment, primarily in a Labor & Birth unit.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
- Uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
- Evaluate care effectiveness provided by caregivers.
- Deliver high-quality maternal and neonatal care across a full spectrum of risk levels.
- Provide compassionate, expert care in a high-performance, faith-based setting.
- Maintain professional accountability.
- Support patient rights and safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Adapt to unit-specific certification requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (associate's, diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN licensure.
- BLS certification.
- Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, NRP, PALS) may be required based on unit needs.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various movements during shifts.
