Under the supervision of the appropriate Program Supervisor, this is the professional health services (school nurse) component of the pupil services team. Functions as

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Experience: Two years as a registered nurse
• Licenses or Certifications: Must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse from the Maryland Board of Nursing. Driver’s License Required.
• Notes: This position is based at an eligible Title I school as defined in the law and provides full-time nursing coverage for extended learning time and for all school-sponsored events.
• Desired or Preferred Qualifications: Determined by the Maryland Board of Nursing under the licensing requirements for Registered Nurses, preference will be given to applicants with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
