Registered Nurse (IV Skills) - Rotating 12 hour shifts

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties within the designated scope of practice that promote excellent patient care.
• Administer appropriate medications to patients within the assigned area at the direction/order of the physician.
• Accurately document patients’ clinical history, administered procedures, medications, and other pertinent patient care information in the medical record and CR RIS system.
• Assess and treat patients during procedures and during times of medical distress.
• Access patient's venous system through an implanted port for contrast administration and/or lab values.
• Administer sedation medications as ordered to claustrophobic patients during radiologic procedures.
• Maintain and procure a complete and accurate inventory of all necessary emergency medical supplies, including controlled substance counts.
• Perform and abide by sterile technique standards and create sterile trays for procedures.
• Comply with all CR organizational and clinical policies and procedures that apply to the role.
• Assist the technologist with patient flow to maximize workflow efficiencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• RN/LPN license.
• 3‑5 years of nursing experience.
• Excellent IV skills.
• Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Telemetry preferred.
• Radiology experience a plus.
• ACLS/BLS certification.

Shift: 3, 12‑hour shifts per week; rotating Monday to Saturday. Schedule posted 1 month in advance.
