About the Role

This position involves providing comprehensive care in the Interventional Radiology department. Responsibilities include performing procedures as a circulator, scrub, or monitor, ensuring patient safety and preparation, assessing patients, administering medications, managing hemostasis, documenting charges, and educating patients and families.

Responsibilities

  • Perform procedures as a circulator, scrub, or monitor in Interventional Radiology.
  • Ensure patient safety and preparation for procedures.
  • Assess patients and administer medications as required.
  • Manage hemostasis during and after procedures.
  • Document charges accurately.
  • Educate patients and families about care and procedures.

Requirements

  • Nursing degree (e.g., ADN or BSN).
  • Valid nursing licensure.
  • Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ALS (Advanced Life Support) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged standing and walking.
  • Ability to lift and move patients or equipment.
  • Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
