Responsibilities
- Develops and implements care plans based on evidence-based practices and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Provides direct or delegated patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing procedures.
- Prepares patients for discharge and ensures their transition to home or other healthcare settings is smooth and compliant with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in an ICU or Med/Surg setting.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS certification required.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability to float across different units within the hospital.
- Manual dexterity necessary for tasks requiring precision and care.
- Effective communication skills to interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Physical ability to lift and transport patients safely and efficiently.
