Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care Unit - Part Time

About the role

Registered Nurse (RN) providing patient-centered, technical, and collaborative care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Supervise and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure age-appropriate standards of care.
• Maintain clear communication, build relationships, and promote a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Administer medications and IV therapies accurately and timely.
• Support patient education and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Engage in professional growth and performance accountability.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
• Current Texas RN license and Basic Life Support certification.
• Minimum 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency.
• Knowledge of hospital policies, confidentiality, and nursing standards.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
