Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care Unit

About the Role

The RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care provides high-quality, individualized patient care in a fast-paced ICU setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practices.
• Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive, patient-centered care, actively involving patients and families.
• Coordinate and document safe care, fostering teamwork, interdisciplinary communication, and a respectful clinical environment.
• Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance activities to enhance care quality.
• Support professional development by mentoring and maintaining competencies, while adhering to organizational policies and standards.
• Promote evidence-based practice, participate in protocols development, and manage resources effectively.
• Provide comprehensive ICU care, collaborate with team members, improve care processes, mentor peers, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Valid nursing license and certifications including BLS, ACLS, and multi-state RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience.
