Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care Unit

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centered care by performing the nursing process and utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Partner with patients and families, ensuring effective communication, education, and care planning.
• Cook up interdisciplinary team efforts, promote teamwork, and support performance improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional development and a healthy work environment.
• Support evidence-based practice, research, and adherence to clinical standards and policies.
• Participate in protocol development, resource management, and data collection for quality outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s Nursing degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Valid RN license and certifications in BLS and ACLS (or equivalent) upon hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience.
