About the Role
Registered Nurse responsible for delivering high-quality, technical, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. The role involves working in various environments with exposure to blood, body fluids, and potential skin and respiratory irritants.
The RN must be committed to continuous improvement, collaboration, and professional development to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
- Supervise and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure age-appropriate care.
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and ensure accurate, timely communication of patient information.
- Administer medications and IV therapies safely and effectively.
- Build relationships, promote teamwork, and contribute to improving patient experience.
- Take accountability for performance, professional growth, and adherence to hospital standards.
- Support educational processes for patients, families, and staff.
- Utilize knowledge of hospital policies and care standards to deliver quality care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
- Current Texas RN license and Basic Life Support certification.
- Minimum of 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency.
- Knowledge of hospital procedures, policies, and safety standards.
