Role Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using evidence-based practices and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess: Evaluate physical, social, and psychological patient status, gathering information from team members, patients, and families.
- Plan: Develop individualized care plans with input from patients, families, and the healthcare team, including education and follow-up support.
- Implement: Coordinate and delegate care, manage resources, and prioritize patient needs efficiently.
- Evaluate: Monitor patient responses, outcomes, and satisfaction, revising care plans as needed.
- Professionalism: Uphold legal and ethical standards, ensure accurate documentation, and promote professional development.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN license; BSN required within four years if less than 12 months of experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Skills in patient care delivery, interdisciplinary teamwork, documentation, communication, critical thinking, and specific clinical interventions.
Physical & Other Requirements
- Ability to see, hear, and manipulate equipment.
- Lift and transfer patients.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Operate vehicles if applicable.
